Descripción

CONDADO DE LEWIS Y CLARK, MONTANA, EE. UU.

Hace diez años, la adolescente Nicole y su madre abandonaron el hotel familiar tras descubrir la aventura de su padre con Rachel, que además estaba embarazada. Rachel era una chica de su misma edad que acabó suicidándose.

Ahora que sus padres han fallecido, Nicole quiere cumplir la última voluntad de su madre: vender el hotel y reparar el daño realizado a los familiares de Rachel. Nicole vuelve al hotel con el abogado de la familia para inspeccionar la deteriorada estructura.

Cuando el tiempo empeora por sorpresa, Nicole no tiene manera de salir del gran albergue de montaña y encuentra apoyo en Irving, una joven agente de FEMA que usa uno de los primeros radioteléfonos fabricados.

Con su ayuda, Nicole comienza a investigar un misterio con mucha más historia de lo que la gente del valle se pensaba. Una historia de amor y de muerte, en la que la melancolía y la nostalgia se unen en un apasionante relato de fantasmas.
