Instalación

A diferencia de otros títulos de mediados de la década de 1990 que utilizan QuickTime para sus secuencias de movimiento, Noir utiliza Smacker. Esto puede ser una de las razones por las que nadie ha sido capaz de conseguir que Noir funcione en cualquier sistema basado en NT: NT, 2000, XP. Noir funciona muy bien en todos los Windows desde 3.1 a 98 y es probable que también funcione en ME.

Existe un parche que soluciona el problema anterior y permite ejecutar el juego en Windows 2000/XP (sin determinar si el parche es oficial).
