Descripción
Los Cazafantasmas, que continúan con su rutina de investigación y eliminación de fenómenos paranormales, se ven en apuros cuando se produce un incidente en el laboratorio con el portal transdimensional creado por los doctores Spengler y Stantz para trasladar a los fantasmas directamente al inframundo. El portal, que resonaba con un lugar en el corazón del Caribe en una época remota, permite al fantasma del pirata LeChuck cruzar el portal y capturar a la desprevenida secretaria Janine Melnitz. Ray, con la mochila de protones a los hombros y el equipo técnico, se aventura más allá de la puerta de entrada a un mundo infestado de piratas fantasmas para salvar a Janine, mientras Egon intenta estabilizar el portal para traerlos de vuelta. ¿Serán capaces de salvar a Janine y capturar al malvado pirata LeChuck?
