Descripción

Somos un chico alto y escuálido llamado Quickthorpe, al que por votación popular se nos encarga el ir a buscar las cuatro piedras perdidas, para devolver la paz a nuestra aldea y al mundo.

Importante es saber que te pueden matar, por tanto debes salvar la partida cada vez que puedas y lo mas frecuentemente posible, aunque solo tienes 8 grabaciones. Hay dos maneras de morirte, por un lado si algún malo del juego te lanza algún rayo, lo que depende siempre de las respuestas correctas o no que le des, y por otro pasa también que si no aciertas alguna respuesta, el juego se queda clavado, sin posibilidad de hacer nada más que resetear. Por tanto salvad cada dos por tres la partida.

Preinstalado

En el foro dispones de versiones preinstaladas donde sólo tendrás que descomprimir y ejecutar:

  • Basada en DOSBox y la versión CD.

Windows XP

  • Instala el juego desde el CD con setup.exe. Por ejemplo en c:\fable
Luego, modifica el registro con Regedit y abre lo siguiente: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Telstar\Fable
Edita el valor de Path por el sitio donde hayas instalado el juego, en nuestro caso c:\fable
Ahora el juego funcionará perfectamente en Windows XP.--cireja 16:17 23 sep 2013

Windows 10 64bits

  • Para Windows de 64 bits cambia un poco la ruta del registro, sería esta:

DOSBox

  • Hay que utilizar la versión 0.73 o superior, con mejoras en el reconocimiento de CPUs, con la versión 0.72 no deja instalar.

Atajos de teclado:

Entregar objetos:

Para entregar un objeto del inventario hay que cogerlo y, sobre el personaje al que se lo queremos dar, cambiar con click derecho hasta que aparezca el verbo "entregar". Si no hacemos esto no se lo entregaremos, y el juego entenderá que lo que queremos es usar un objeto con el personaje, y no funcionará el asunto.--cireja 16:17 23 sep 2013
